Ursula Campbell recently arrived in the UK from Canada, armed with her heritage visa and work permit.
Ursula is one of those rare actresses who shines in both comedy and straight roles. With experience in film, television, theatre, commercial, voice-over and presenting/hosting, she is keen to be available for any and all of them, this side of the Atlantic.
Ursula's most recent credit includes the peppy 1980's VMN host "Jenni Jones", in an internet trailer for the hugely successful Paramount movie "The Watchmen", ironically being cast in London, playing an American for an American movie. Other screen credits include "Degrassi - The Next Generation" for Canadian television and the role of Valerie in the feature film, "The Devil's Mercy", opposite Stephen Rea.
In the UK, Ursula has appeared in on screen in "Tainted Heart" and "Target Audience", and in Canada in the series' "Doc" and "Psychic Investigators", and in the features "Why I wore Lipstick to my Mastectomy" and "On the Run".
Favourite theatre credits include playing a suicidal American teen in "SubUrbia", a fiery New York Italian in "Italian American Reconciliation", Poppy Norton taylor in "Noises Off", and the defiant gun-wielding Diane Symonds in "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains it all for You".
In addition to acting Ursula continues to work as a freelance Presenter, Journalist and Videographer, and her musical side keeps her busy as a lead singer in a variety of Rock Bands.
