Recent graduate Jon, has a highly contemporary London look, that comes from his British mother and Ghanaian father. Tall and handsome, with hair that will either become a huge afro or look fairly contained, his light colouring enables him to play characters from many countries, including the Caribbean, Africa, Brazil and the South Pacific.
Following his degree in Film Studies at Queen Mary's University, Jon went on to study at the Bridge Theatre Training Company, from where he has just graduated.
Credits during training include Eddie in "Road", Danforth in "The Crucible" and the Fool in "The Winter's Tale". His graduation play was Caryl Churchill's "Mad Forest", set in Romania, where the entire company had to master the Romanian accent and Jon played The Archangel Michael and the Painter.
Martial Arts have been a big part of Jon's life. He has a Black Belt in Chinese Kickboxing, a Green Belt in Tae Kwon Do, and good levels in Juijitsu, Capoeira, Kung Fu and Boxing. Obviously not a man to pick an argument with!
Jon believes he has a highly versatile playing type and is looking forward to working on stage and screen. He admires, for different reasons, the work of Johnny Depp, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Byung-hun Lee, Ian McKellan, Kevin Spacey and Denzel Washington. If any of them phone, he is available....
