Height:
6 feet 4

This is one actor you can't fail to notice. 6 feet 4, red hair, well built, Paul stands out in everything he does.

Born and brought up in Blackburn in Lancashire, and originally going down the sporty route, he moved into theatre when he realised he loved performing, and it is as an actor he gains most satisfaction, despite having been trained to County standard in Football, Volleyball and Athletics, and being strong in several other sports.

This love of activity has helped Paul become a good dancer, and as a strong singer as well, he is a natural for heroic roles in musicals.

Musical/panto credits include Buttons in "Cinderella", national tour, "The Snow Queen", "Tony Blair - the Musical"!!!, (Edinburgh), and this year "Innit: Urban Musical", in Manchester.

Straight-acting roles include Trofimov in "The Cherry Orchard", directed by Maggi Law, and Valere in "Tartuffe" at Wimbledon Studio.

In 2010 Paul will be working for Sally Humphreys Productions in the national tour of "Guess how much I love You", the stage production based on the internationally successful children's books.

An inspiring experience for Paul was working with Jeremy Irons in a Masterclass at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, on the text for "Never so Good", that Mr Irons was then performing at the National Theatre.

In 2009 Paul got to work on an opera, one of his dreams, in an acting role for Ryedale Festival Opera, in "Hary Janos", an English production of this Hungarian piece.

Additional skills Paul has, include Object Manipulation and Puppetry, which is something very useful and has helped him get work, and also Paul is a poet.

He has recently read some of his work for National Poetry Day, in Blackpool. In a business where uniqueness is a definite advantage, there are so many facets to Paul, that he must always be employable.
