A rare commodity - A British actor who can work in America.

John was born in America to Irish parents, but has lived his entire life in the UK. He hopes eventually to be able to work on both sides of the Atlantic.

John has very strong physical abilities. He loves sport, combat and martial arts and during his university degree, he specialised in physical theatre.

After a drama school training at the Bridge Theatre School, John has come into the business, graduating in 2009, well equipped for a variety of types of role. So far he has played a wolf in the Vanessa Whyte video, "Never Ending", and an adulterer in the Little Comets video "Adulterous".

Drama school gave John the opportunity to play Bruce in "Blue/Orange", Giovanni in "Tis pity she's a Whore", and Camillo in "The Winter's Tale". His favourite role was as the vampire in Caryl Churchill's "Mad Forest", set in Romania during the revolution. The play was an ambitious project, teaching the entire cast the Romanian accent, the challenge of which really appealed to John.

John's very contemporary voice has led to him being able to get work as a radio DJ and also he has done some voiceover work on the recent feature film "City Rats".

Favourite actors John admires include Kevin Spacey, Daniel Day Lewis, Ralph Fiennes, Sean Bean and James McAvoy. His dream would be to play a villain in a James Bond film. He can see that he may get romantic characters, but somehow it's always more fun to be the bas guy!
