Height:
5'4"

Londoner Leanda grew up wanting to be an actress and accidentally ended up become a secretary at the BBC for many years.

Whilst it was great to work in such a creative environment and take part in amateur and semi-pro acting work when she had the time, that feeling that she was the one who ought to be in front of the camera never left her, and after the age of 30, she decided to take the plunge and go to drama school.

At London Academy of Perfroming Arts Leanda discovered a love for classical theatre and was helped to bring out her gift for comedy. She is a natural for Mike Leigh type material, being able to make the suburban ridiculous and the ridiculous suburban!

Favourite theatre roles to date have included Bridget Baines in "A Chorus of Disapproval", Mae Rose in "Under Milk Wood" and Solange in "The Maids"

Leanda's most prominent screen role to date has been as a young widow in a moving Anti-Smoking commercial.
