Born in the South but having spent most of his life in the North, Grant feels very much home in the hills above Manchester.
Amateur Dramatics played a large part in Grant's life from an early age, and studying at the prestigious Manchester Metropolitan University was a natural step when he was looking at drama schools.
Upon graduation from the Met, Grant was offered the role of Tony in "West Side Story", which ran at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He had played this role before, so was thrilled to be chosen for it again.
Currently, Grant is working for the respected Brief Candle Theatre Company, in a theatre-in-education project entitled, "4-Ever?"
Other credits since graduation include another similar project "Not in my Name" for Northern company, Theatre Veritae, and over Christmas 2008 Grant worked for the Storytellers' Company at Pendle Productions, as the Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland".
A versatile actor and singer, Grant looks forward to new challenges in 2010.
